CPAP device design for KAM: a portable sleep therapy system.
For KAM, we developed a CPAP device design that moves away from bulky, hospital-like machines and towards a compact, portable solution. The main unit is clean and minimal, yet it houses the pump, electronics, ventilation system, battery and access door in a tightly organised layout. The pump is partially isolated from the other components to reduce vibration and protect the electronics. At the same time, carefully designed airflow paths and internal surfaces help maintain both efficiency and low noise. The device can also be mounted on the wall through a dedicated bracket, improving cable management and keeping the bedside area tidy. As a result, the device looks more like a contemporary consumer-tech product than a traditional medical machine, while still meeting the functional demands of sleep therapy.

Unique smart ring integration for a complete sleep therapy solution.
The KAM system combines the main unit with a smart ring to create a complete CPAP device design ecosystem. The slightly flexible ring adapts to different hand sizes and tracks oxygen saturation, heart rate and movement, giving the device real-time insight into the user’s sleep. A magnetic inner cradle guides the ring into place, ensuring safe charging and an intuitive docking gesture. This single, integrated interaction keeps the experience simple and familiar. The unified design language between device and ring, together with the compact form factor and efficient space management, makes KAM a distinctive portable CPAP solution where form and function work together in a seamless way.
